Proper aftercare protects your results, prevents irritation, and helps your skin heal. Don’t skip it—your glow and long term results depends on it!

Masks

Apply a clay mask the next day to help keep pores clear and continue to use clay masks weekly if you have oily skin.

Moisturise

Use a light, non-comedogenic moisturiser.

Products

Avoid pore-clogging makeup or skincare products, which will help reduce the need for frequent blackhead removal.

For most people, getting blackhead removal once every 4 to 6 weeks is ideal. This aligns with the skin's natural renewal cycle and allows time for pores to stay clean without over-irritating the skin.

Other Treatments

Do not have any facial treatments for at least 48 hours as well as no waxing or laser treatments on your face for at least a week.

Environment

Avoid direct sunlight and UV rays for 24-48 hours and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

Make - Up

Do not apply make up for at least 24 hours and do not wash your face for ideally 2 hours after the treatment.

Avoid Heat

Avoid hot showers, saunas and hot baths for 48 hours.

Products

Avoid exfoliating products, acne products or any products containing retinol or salicylic acid for at least 24 hours.

Moisturise

Moisturise as much as possible with a gentle facial moisturiser.

3. A Few Lash and Brow Aftercare Hints & Tips

Serums

Using lash serums can help keep your lashes healthy and strong. However avoid applying this in the first 24 hours.

Sun and UV Rays

Avoiding direct sunlight and UV light will extend the life of the tint.

Make - Up

Wait 48 hours to apply mascara. Avoid waterproof mascara and beauty products around your lashes and brows until your new layer of hair has grown.

Other Treatments

Do not have any facial treatments in the first 24 hours.

Avoid Heat

Avoid steam, saunas, heat, hot water or heavy workouts causing pores to sweat for the first 24 hours.

Avoid Touching

Avoid touching your lashes or brows and avoid picking at your lashes.

Schedule appointments regularly. Tint is permanent however because of the natural growth of the brows and lashes it will grow out.

4. A Few Lymphatic Drainage Massage Aftercare Hints & Tips

Drink Water

Increase water consumption for the next 48 - 72 hours to prevent dehydration. However do not exceed the recommended water consumption.

Avoid Alcohol

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.

Avoid Heat

Avoid hot baths and saunas for at least 2 hours.

Diet

Wait 30 - 60 mins before having a meal after your treatment and try to have light meals instead of heavy meals to aid the body's natural detoxification process.

Clothing

Wear loose clothing to allow lymph flow for the first 24 hours after your treatment allowing your body to recover and maintain lymphatic fluid flow.

Health

Reduce or stop smoking and caffeine intake, if possible for the long term.

You can rebook as much as several times a week to once every 3 months. Obviously the more often you have these types of treatments the quicker you will start to see results and feel consistent relief.

5. A Few Manicure Aftercare Hints & Tips

Cleaning

Wear gloves whenever cleaning especially when washing up or performing gardening tasks, etc. to protect the nails from harsh chemicals.

Maintenance

Apply a top coat and cuticle oil daily to protect the enamel, aid growth and to ensure your nail enamel lasts longer.

Nails Are Not A Tool

Avoid using your nails as tools for example, opening a can, scratching items off of something and picking at your nails.

Swimming

Wash hands immediately after swimming to remove chlorine, which can weaken the nails and fade polish.

Avoid Heat

Avoid hot moisture (from hot showers/baths, saunas or hot tubs) for 48 hours.

Drying

After your manicure your nails will only be touch dry, and not properly dry for 2 - 3 hours. Please try to aim for 3 hours to achieve the best results. It is always better to let them dry longer as it will benefit you in the long run because your nail enamel should last longer.

6. A Few Massage Aftercare Hints and Tips

Keep Active

Though we do not want you to do any strenuous activities we ask you still keep yourself active, including gentle stretches.

Bathe

Take a warm bath or shower to soothe any sore muscles.

Exercise

Take it easy, avoid any strenuous activity, such as going to the gym or lifting heavy items for at least 24 hours after your massage.

Alcohol

Avoid alcohol and caffeine after a massage for at least 12 hours.

Diet

Make sure you are eating lightly and nutritiously.

Hydrate

Drink plenty of water following your massage as you may become dehydrated after the therapist has been actively removing toxins from your body.

Maintenance

Apply cuticle oil to aid nail growth. Come back for infills and repairs where needed.

Avoid High Heat

High heat (e.g., saunas, direct sunlight, tanning beds) can sometimes cause the gels to lift. Don’t expose them to intense heat for long periods.

Bonding Care

Please be gentle for the first 24 - 48 hours after they are applied as it takes time for the bonding process to be completed.

Cleaning

Wear gloves whenever cleaning especially when washing up, performing gardening tasks, etc. to protect the nails from harsh chemicals.

8. A Few Pedicure Aftercare Hints & Tips

Drying

After your pedicure, opt for open - toed shoes as your nails are only touch dry and not properly dry for 2 - 3 hours. Please try to aim for 3 hours to achieve the best results. Avoid tight fitting shoes which can rub the polish causing it to smudge and wrinkle.

Maintenance

Apply top coat and cuticle oil daily to protect the enamel, aid growth and to ensure your nail colour lasts longer.

Avoid Heat

Avoid hot moisture (from a hot shower/bath, sauna or hot tub) for 48 hours.

Swimming

Rinse feet immediately after swimming to remove chlorine which can weaken the nails and fade polish.

Moisturise

Moisturise daily especially areas that are dry or cracked, for example the heels.

Hygiene

Keep your feet clean and dry. Change socks regularly. Cotton socks are preferred as they allow your feet to breathe.

9. A Few Threading Aftercare Hints & Tips

Hygiene

Keep the area clean by using gentle cleansers and make sure you pat dry instead of rubbing.

Exfoliation

Avoid exfoliating the threaded area for 2 - 3 days.

Calm

Use rose water, aloe vera or a cold compress to reduce redness and inflammation.

Avoid Touching

Avoid touching the area too much as your fingers can carry oils.

Avoid Heat

Avoid heat such as hot showers/baths, saunas or steam rooms for 24 hours.

Make - Up

Avoid make up for 24 hours.

-Fast Growers: May need threading every 2 weeks.

-Slow Growers: Can stretch it to 4-5 weeks.

10. A Few Waxing Aftercare Hints & Tips

Avoid Touching

Avoid frequently touching or rubbing your waxed area of skin, as your pores are now open so doing this could therefore lead to risk of infection or worsening your current skin condition in this area.

Environment

Avoid direct sunlight, tanning and UV rays.

Products

Avoid wearing deodorant, perfumes, exfoliators or fragranced creams on the treated area for 48 hours as this will otherwise burn the area due to your pores still being open.

Avoid Heat

Avoid hot baths, hot tubs and saunas. If you shower use cooler water to avoid burning for the first 24 hours.

Clothing

Wear loose clothing in the area to avoid rubbing which can cause irritation.

Exercise

Avoid working out and swimming for the first 24 hours otherwise the sweat can lead to bacterial infections in the open pores as your skin is vulnerable at this time.

-Lip, Chin or Brow: 2- 3 weeks.

-Underarms: 2 - 3 weeks.

-Arms: 3 - 4 weeks.

-Legs: 4 - 6 weeks.

-Bikini: 3 - 4 weeks.

Factors that may impact your waxing schedule are as follows:

-Hair Type: Coarser, darker hair may grow back faster.

-Hormones: Can affect speed of growth (e.g., pregnancy, PCOS, etc.).

-Consistency: The more regularly you wax, the slower and finer your hair grows back.

-Shaving Between Waxes: Delays progress so please try to avoid this if you want long-term results.

Any hair to be waxed should be ¼ inch long (about a grain of rice) for the wax to grip it properly.
