Blackheads are a type of acne caused by clogged hair follicles. When oil, dead skin cells and bacteria accumulate in a pore and are exposed to air. They oxidise and turn black, hence the name.

How does it work?

🧼 Step-by-Step Blackhead Removal Process

1. Cleanse Your Skin

First we start with a gentle cleanser to remove surface dirt, oil and makeup. This helps prevent pushing bacteria deeper into your pores during extraction.

2. Exfoliate

Using a gentle exfoliator to remove dead skin cells and help open up the pores.

3. Hot Towel

We apply a hot towel to your face for 5 minutes to open the pores.

🔑 Heat helps soften the debris inside the pores, making it easier to extract.

4. Blackhead Removal

Using a comedone extractor we carefully remove as many black heads as possible.

Note Buffer Time

To help every appointment run smoothly, we include a small buffer around each treatment so the time length booked may be longer than the treatment time. This is to allow extra time for the completion of your consultation form, allow for any slight delays or natural treatment runover as well as preparing the room.
