Bikini (Hot Wax)

What is a Bikini Wax with Hot Wax?

A bikini wax removes pubic hair from the outer edges of the bikini line, meaning hair that would be visible outside the edges of standard underwear. It involves tidying the area to create a clean, smooth line but leaves a significant amount of hair, such as a large inverted triangle, on the pubic bone.

How does it work?

A bikini wax with hot wax works by applying hot, melted wax to the skin and quickly pulling it off, which removes hair from the root. The process involves applying wax in small sections waiting a minute for it to dry then pulling it off sharply in any direction. 

The benefit about hot wax is its easier to wax more delicate areas, such as underarms or bikini line since you can apply and remove the wax in any direction. It is also good if your hairs are quite hard to remove as this wax allows multiple applications to eradicate those tricky hairs.  This is unlike warm wax, which sticks to the hairs and skin, which means it should not be applied too many times, as you are removing some of the skin with the hairs.  However, hot wax sticks to the hairs only so can be applied more than once.

Note Buffer Time

To help every appointment run smoothly, we include a small buffer around each treatment so the time length booked may be longer than the treatment time. This is to allow extra time for the completion of your consultation form, allow for any slight delays or natural treatment runover as well as preparing the room.
