What is a Underarm Wax?
An underarm wax (also called armpit waxing) is a hair removal method where warm wax is applied to the underarm area and then quickly pulled off to remove hair from the root.
How does it work?
Waxing removes hair from the root (follicle) by using a sticky wax substance that adheres to both the hair and the outer layer of skin. When the wax is pulled off, it takes the hair and some dead skin cells with it, resulting in smoother skin for a longer time compared to shaving.
Benefits:
- Longer lasting results than shaving (usually 2–4 weeks).
- Hair tends to grow back finer and softer over time.
- Exfoliates the skin slightly, removing dead skin cells.
Note Buffer Time
To help every appointment run smoothly, we include a small buffer around each treatment so the time length booked may be longer than the treatment time. This is to allow extra time for the completion of your consultation form, allow for any slight delays or natural treatment runover as well as preparing the room.Â
