Gel Pedicure
What is a Gel Pedicure?
A gel pedicure is a type of nail treatment that uses a special gel-based polish that’s cured (hardened) under a UV or LED lamp.
We use O.P.I gel polish which is free from TPO and Hema.
⚠️ Things to know:
- Needs professional removal (soak-off process)
How does it work?
Here’s a simple breakdown:
💅 What happens during a gel pedicure:
- Foot Soak: Softens the skin and cuticles.
- Nail Shaping: Nails are trimmed, filed, and shaped to your liking.
- Cuticle Care: Cuticles are pushed back and tidied.
- Prep: Nails are buffed and prepped for polish application.
Polish: A base coat, gel colour and top coat are applied.
Drying: Each layer is cured under a lamp to set it.
Benefits:
- Long-lasting (usually 2–3 weeks)
- High-gloss, shiny finish
- Chip-resistant
- Dries instantly (no smudging!)
Note Buffer Time
To help every appointment run smoothly, we include a small buffer around each treatment so the time length booked may be longer than the treatment time. This is to allow extra time for the completion of your consultation form, allow for any slight delays or natural treatment runover as well as preparing the room.
Our goal is simply to make your visit relaxed, unrushed and for you to enjoy the experience from start to finish. If you ever have any questions about timing or what to expect, we’re always happy to help.
Please Note: Those days marked with a line through them are for appointment only sessions, which can be booked if required, but will need to be booked by giving us a call.
